OUR FOUNDER

 

Dr. Widza Charles Robinson believes that education is the most important tool in society. Her vision is to ensure that every child excels despite their circumstances as they achieve individual, academic, and personal goals. 

 

With over 30 years of experience in education, she has worked with students of all grade levels in various capacities. She is certified in Science, Math, Reading, and English/Language Arts. She is also ESOL and Gifted endorsed. She has taught in New York City Public Schools, Dekalb County Schools, and Rockdale County Schools.

 

She believes a student’s academic progress is promoted and enhanced by the partnership of parents, teachers, community stakeholders, and students alike. Likewise, she believes that all children want to learn and do well even if their environment is not conducive to learning. This thirst for student achievement motivates her to continuously work toward research-based best practices to ensure student learning. Therefore, she sees education as the steps on a ladder that elevate students to rise to their highest potential.

 

Dr. Robinson resides in Conyers, Georgia. She is a proud mother of two daughters and the mentor of many young adults.
